Our Urbandale clinic is where Rise first began — a bright, welcoming space designed for kids to learn, play, and grow. Here, our multidisciplinary team offers speech, occupational, feeding, and academic tutoring services, all grounded in a child-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Families love the variety of therapy spaces, including our sensory gym and play-based treatment rooms. Whether your child is working on communication, motor skills, or mealtime success, our Urbandale team is here to support their unique journey and celebrate every milestone along the way.
We also host a free monthly Parent Support Group, open to the public, as well as special interest groups in the spring and fall focused on topics like feeding, sensory processing, and early development. We’re thrilled to be expanding north to serve families in the Ames area! Our new Ames clinic will open in December 2025 and will begin by offering speech and feeding therapy.
This location is inside Complete Connection Chiropractic, located at Ames Fitness Center, with our own dedicated entrance at the front of the building for easy access. Just like our Urbandale location, Ames will feature a warm, child-centered environment that fosters connection, confidence, and joy in learning.
Our therapists will bring Rise’s signature approach — relationship-based, play-driven, and family-focused — to help little ones make meaningful progress while having fun. Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to welcome Ames families to the Rise community!

Our newest clinic is taking shape in Ankeny, opening January 2026! This location will bring the same heart and mission as our Urbandale site, with a multidisciplinary team providing speech, occupational, and feeding therapy for children from birth to adolescence.
The Ankeny clinic is designed to be bright, spacious, and inspiring — a place where play, sensory exploration, and meaningful learning come together. With a growing team of experienced therapists and a deep commitment to family collaboration, we can’t wait to support even more children as they rise toward their potential
