Neurodevelopment & Brain Health

At NeuroBloom, we help individuals and families transform neurological, developmental, behavioral and learning challenges into meaningful, lasting progress. Our brain-first approach meets each person where they are, building foundational skill sets in regulation, motor control, sensory integration, attention, communication, and cognitive function, so they can thrive at home, school, work, and in life.

Whether you’re navigating developmental delays, sensory dysregulation, focus challenges, emotional overwhelm, post-concussion symptoms, neurological recovery, or other brain-based concerns, NeuroBloom blends cutting-edge neuro-rehabilitation methods with compassionate, personalized care.

Growth doesn’t happen by force; it unfolds when the brain is supported properly.

Therapy supports the process.
We build the foundation.

We use an integrative, neuroscience-driven model to assess and strengthen the brain-body connections that influence learning, behavior, regulation, movement, cognition, and recovery - focusing on root neurological drivers rather than just surface-level symptoms.

How NeuroBloom Can Help

pexels-olia-danilevich-5088179.jpg

Gentle, non-invasive laser therapy that helps brain cells produce more energy and communicate more efficiently.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

A form of therapy involving light physical movement while breathing higher levels of oxygen, which improves circulation and reduces inflammation.

Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT)

The use of specific movements and exercises to help the brain finish certain developmental milestones that may not be integrated.

Neurological Exercises, or Primitive Reflex Integration

How NeuroBloom Works

This system helps control balance, coordination, posture, and regulation through targeted movement and sensory input.

Vestibular Integration, or Balance & Body Awareness

Ocular Integration, or Eye Tracking & Visual Processing

Training the brain-eye connection directly in order to enhance visual processing that can affect reading, focus, coordination, learning, and behavior.

We use a combination of modern technology and therapies to help your child’s brain regulate, integrate, and reorganize. Our techniques include, but are not limited to:

Hi, I’m Dr. Tanner Hemer. I’m a brain-based clinician specializing in functional neurology and neurological rehabilitation. I work with children, individuals, and families facing neurodevelopmental challenges, neurological dysregulation, brain injuries, and recovery needs. My care is rooted in a brain-first, root-cause approach grounded in neuroplasticity, brain-body integration, and real-world functional application.

After completing my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University of Northern Iowa, I pursued my doctoral education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, including advanced training through specialized coursework in Functional Neurology and concussion and traumatic brain injury (TBI) management.

I founded NeuroBloom because I am passionate about making sure that every child and individual gets the opportunity they deserve to reach their full potential, not through force, but through intentional, thoughtful, neurological care. It’s my hope that every family who walks through our doors experiences advanced care in a supportive environment where they feel understood, supported, and confident in the care they or their loved ones receive.

“I believe it was God’s providence that you have worked with our son these past two weeks. It was so obvious that you were using every ounce you had to give on his behalf. Thank you for being so respectful to him. Your care has been so insightful and thorough. God bless you from the bottom of our hearts.”
